Healthcare team

Health visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached staff

Attached staff include mental health practitioner, advanced nurse practitioners, nursing associates, care coordinators, social prescribers, pharmacists, midwives, district nurses, treatment room nurses, chiropodists, audiologists, dietitians and counsellors.

Midwifery team

The midwifery team holds an antenatal clinic at the practice alternate Thursday afternoons.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner – at the practice on Wednesday mornings.

Care Co-ordinators – available remotely.

Clinical Pharmacist – at the practice Mondays and Friday mornings.

First Contact Practitioner (Physiotherapist) – at the practice on Tuesdays.

Mental Health Practitioner – at the practice on Tuesdays.

Nursing Associate – at the practice on Tuesday afternoons.

Social Prescriber – at the practice alternate Tuesday afternoons.
